Scanline Fire Doors is a Gold Coast based family business owned & operated by Peter Pedersen. After finishing a joinery apprenticeship in Denmark, Peter immigrated to Australia in 1978. With these skills he progressed into the construction industry in Sydney. In 1984 an opportunity arose to move to the Gold Coast and install the fire doors at Jupiters Casino, Broadbeach. Since then Peter & family have called the Gold Coast home. Peter has worked hard to provide high quality services to meet his clients varied requirements.
Now, over 30 years later, Scanline Fire Doors are involved with numerous resorts, apartment buildings, shopping centres and commercial properties throughout the Gold Coast, Northern NSW & Brisbane. Working with clients, Scanline Fire Doors offers hands on experience and up-to-date industry knowledge. We specialise in fire door & metal frame maintenance to comply with AS 1851-17-2005.

Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008 placed a legal obligation on building owners and/or managers in Queensland to correctly maintain all Fire Door sets. Scanline Fire Doors offers you a Fire Door Inspection Service to comply with the Australian Standards. The Scanline Fire Doors team are up to date on all Australian Standards relating to fire doors and can provide not only the inspection and report required, but also the maintenance services to make fire doors compliant.
